Artistic director: kris van aasche location: an outdoor show, along the orangerie inside the luxembourg gardencollection : a new sartorial spirit apparent for the berluti dressing with lightness and fluidity. the new jacket is worn without sleeves and the trousers are slit on the bottom. bright colors (purple, orange, green) energize the look. the patterns evoking traces of paint are printed on shirts in an arty and colorful version. the designer reinterprets the codes of the label in a modern way, including patinated leather and scritto leather. the sportswear is expressed through branded bombers worn over a suit that is accessorised with zipped trainers. the bag proposals are numerous and are enriched with decorative elements. the shoes are highlighted with colors.note: the woman accompanying the man, dressed in a costume embroidered with feathers and boots of a graphic design. + gigi hadid closing the show. featuring interviews with kris van assche (artistic director), antoine arnault (ceo of berluti), ricky martin (singer), carmelo anthony (basketball player)kris van asschei refuse the idea that berluti is primarily shoes and that clothes are just there to make them pretty. everything can perfectly coexist, one can inspire the other, or improve the other’s elements. i reject the idea that berluti is just a timeless luxury story. for me, of course, there are timeless luxury pieces in there, leather coats embossed with scritto. of course there will still be there in 10 years, but it is also important to have a fashion element, because berluti is also a brand for today, not just for the past. ricky martin i love the colours that he used, it was just fantastic. antoine arnault i am very appreciative of his intelligence and his ability to combine berluti's heritage with the present, to work on the codes of the label that are not only important for us, but also for existing customers, whilst at the same time doing something very contemporary and very current.carmelo i love the way he plays with the different colours, the vibrant colours he used this season. i think the weather here helped a lot, it brought everything out. show music (only to use in the context of the show, covered by the right to information)
