David Koma- Fashion show- WOMEN'S collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in London (with interview)

Inspiration: the artist and sculptor Frank CotaFocus: architectural silhouettes, straight lines, waisted with an added sensuality, split skirt, asymmetry, Swarovski crystalsColours: grey, white, black, cobalt blue & redNote: the baggy bi-fabric trousers with metallic applications on the side & the first piece, the grey felted cashmere coatInterview from David Koma:I wanted the girls to look modern and fresh even though there were pieces that had a lot of couture elements and embellishments, which were mixed with a lot of techniques. The starting point was an L.A based artist Frank Cota. I love his brutal, graphical sculptures with a splash of colour and that was the starting point. I really love working with the proportions of the body and this elongated waist was important for this season. Music of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
