Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer Collection 2014 in Milan

The cherry-trees planted on the Dolce & Gabbana runway serve as decoration but also as the prints for the summer 2014 silhouette. Sicily, which adorns a number of these silhouettes, remains the unique source of inspiration for these two designers. Spring blooms in 3D on collarless, re-embroidered overcoats or on an A-line jacket. There are no precise lines but an array of offers of tunic dresses, short flared dresses or knee-length straight skirts. After these prints, the show gives way to sexy lace in black and then an entirely gold look at the end of all the lace. A number of Sicilian pieces create a new ornamental pattern, found on the jewellery and belts. Materials are the highlight of this show which brings an assumed femininity and an eye-catching style!
