Marc by Marc Jacobs

Forever the genius mix-master, Marc Jacobs merged several different themes into his Spring collection for Marc by Marc Jacobs. The most notable being the African inspired prints patch-worked together throughout the collection. Not one to stop there, he layered in everything from Cosby sweaters, Madonna bows, plaid, and his usual 80's themes.

Proenza Schoulder

Inspired by the surf and skate culture of their youth, the dynamic duo that is Proenza Schouler showed a fresh take on tie-dye and animal for Spring. Some of the tie-dyes resembled ocean ripples while others morphed into an animal print. What started out as a leopard or tiger print on a dress, would gently muddle into a wave pattern throughout the rest of the body.

Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor's Spring 2010 collection showcased a new take on her signature prints: feminine florals, polka dots, and subtle animal prints took shape on high-waisted silhouettes, short ruffled frocks, asymmetrical jumpsuits, cropped blazers, and patterned shoes.
