Pierre Bergé, the former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent, businessman and patron has died on Friday 8th September at the age of 86. He recently spent his time preparing for the opening of two museums dedicated to Yves Saint Laurent in Paris and Marrakech, which he intended to inaugurate in October. Pierre Bergé personifies fashion with the house of Yves Saint Laurent which he created with his companion in the early sixties. A house of couture which today continues to showcase French savoir-faire internationally, and of which Pierre Bergé vehemently defended its image following the death of its creator in 2008 through the Pierre Bergé- Yves Saint Laurent foundation of which he was president.Interview with Pierre Bergé:He would not have had this career without me.
